The family Burnett, of which Brian is a part, has a rich heritage both from Scottish and Germanic descent. Brian grew up in upstate New York having been taught the value of the outdoors by both his parents and the Boy Scouts of America.
As a child, his most memorable events were camping in a National Jamboree with his father, summers at the yacht club with his family, and participation in the Apalachian Service Project. Having grown up an only child, Brian received the blessing of siblings through his faith family later in life
The family Ireland, of which Colleen is a part... Nah, better let her tell this one....
Though we both met in 2003, it would be another four years before Brian would ask permission to court Colleen.
